Welcome To The Rehab Centre

Get the latest evidence-based exercises, rehab advice and information on conditions so you can take the best care of your body. Remember: You only get one, so look after it.

How The Rehab Centre Works

The Rehab Centre has been been put into two main categories; education and rehabilitation

Our educational videos are a mixture of whiteboard videos that help explain the questions you put to us, mostly relating to different conditions, how they impact the body and what can be done to help you if you have that condition, and videos of us talking about the questions you put to us.

The rehabilitation section is split into 3 separate categories.

Step 1 - Mobalisation

How to help the injured body part get moving again to promote optimal healing.

Step 2 - Strengthening

Once mobile, we want to show you exercises that will strengthen that body part.

Step 3 - Proprioception

This is the fine tuning. Proprioceptive training is done to help enhance the bodies ability to know where it is in a 3D environment, which in turn can decrease chances of an injury recurring.

Before trying out any of the videos, we recommend that you speak to a healthcare professional to get a proper diagnosis.

Foot & Ankle Rehabilitation

All the forces put on the body through walking go through the foot and ankle, and can end up travelling up and affecting other parts of the body like the knee, hip and lower back, so making sure you get the rehab right is important.

Knee Rehabilitation

The knee is the largest joint in the human body but also one of the most vulnerable due to the lack of muscles that surround it. Therefore you want to make sure those that do, as well as the muscles and joints of the foot, ankle and hip are strong enough to aid the knee to function in whatever way it is required.

Hip Rehabilitation

The hip is the largest weight bearing joint in the body.

Lower Back Rehabilitation

I2.5 million people in the UK suffer from back pain every day in the UK. It can also be scary if it’s the first time you’re experiencing it. If you’re experiencing bad back pain we recommend speaking to a healthcare professional before trying out any of the following exercises.

Upper Back Rehabilitation

The upper back is a common site for pain, particularly for those who work at a desk.

Neck Rehabilitation

Keeping the neck mobile and strong is important in
